Welcome, and thank you for stepping up as a Claude Enterprise Champion. These terms explain how the program works and what we ask of each other. We've kept them short. You agree to them when you apply.
How you got here
Your company has opted into the Claude Enterprise Champions program and nominated you. Taking part is voluntary: you choose whether to apply, and if your application is accepted, you can leave at any time.
What you’ll do
- Set up a channel for your team and host your first Lunch & Learn within 30 days of joining, then run a hackathon each quarter.
- Share tips in your internal channels and host lightweight events like Lunch & Learns.
- Tell us how it went, with a short report in the Claude Enterprise Community Portal: log each event you host within 1 business day, and log your other activities there too.
- Additionally, you know your company best, so you’ll have the ability to help spread the word within your company about Claude in the way that makes sense for you.
- All of this takes about 2 to 4 hours a month.
What you get
- Exclusive training and resources in the Claude Enterprise Community Portal
- Updates and insights from the Anthropic team on what's new with Claude
- A digital badge that showcases your Champion status on your professional profiles
- A Champion-exclusive welcome kit with branded swag
We may update these benefits from time to time. We may also limit the program or its benefits in some locations to comply with applicable law, including export control and sanctions laws.
Your company comes first
By applying to the program, you represent and warrant that:
- You are an employee of a company that has opted into the program, and that your employer knows you are participating, and has agreed to your participation in the program.
- You are not located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, and you are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list.
- Participating in the program, including the time you spend on it and receiving the items described in these terms, is permitted under your company’s policies. If your participation in the program conflicts with your employer’s terms, you will comply with your employer’s policies and notify us of such conflict.
- Your hackathons and events are your company's own, run for your colleagues and under your company's rules and policies.
- Your company can withdraw you, or withdraw from the program, at any time.
- You can opt out yourself at any time, for any reason.
- Your use of Claude for the program is governed by your company's agreement with Anthropic and its policies. Nothing in these terms changes your company’s agreement with Anthropic.
- You have all rights, permissions and consents you need to take part in the program, including for anything you share with us or post publicly about it, and you are responsible for complying with your obligations to your company and for your own conduct in the program.
A volunteer role
- You agree that you're taking part as a volunteer and aren't entitled to any payment or compensation from Anthropic.
- You aren't an Anthropic employee or representative, and you don't speak for Anthropic. Nothing in these terms creates an employment or agency relationship between you and Anthropic, and your company remains responsible for your employment, including your pay and how the time you spend on the program is treated.
- While you're an active Champion, you're welcome to use the Claude Enterprise Champion designation and badge on your professional profiles, as permitted by these terms, but not in a way that suggests Anthropic endorses you, your company or anything else.
- Anthropic's materials are for program activities at your company. You're welcome to adapt the content of our templates (like agendas, exercises and examples) for your teams, but please use Anthropic's names, logos and other brand elements, including the Claude Enterprise Champion name and badge, only as we provide them, without changing them or combining them with other branding. Anthropic owns its materials and brand. You may not share Anthropic’s materials outside your company or use them to train an AI model. We may ask you to change or stop using any materials at any time.
- To stay in the program and keep your Champion designation, you’re expected to participate in the ways outlined under “What you’ll do”, above. We’ll periodically review your participation in the program to ensure it’s still a fit for you.
What you share with us
- You are responsible for what you share with us. Share only what your company allows, and do not share your company’s confidential information, source code, customer data, or any other non-public information unless your company approves it and you have obtained all required consents. By sharing any information with Anthropic, you confirm that you have the right to do so. To the extent permitted by law, Anthropic is not responsible for any use or disclosure of information you share with us in breach of these terms.
- Anything you and your colleagues build belongs to you or your company, not to Anthropic. This does not include Anthropic’s products and services, materials or brand, which remain Anthropic’s.
- You agree that Anthropic may use your reports and any feedback you give us, in any way and for any purpose, including to run and improve the program and our products, without paying or crediting you.
How we use information about your activity
- Inside Anthropic, we use it to support you and to understand how the program is going.
- We may share your participation and program activity (like events you've hosted and attendance) with your company and your company's Anthropic account team. This covers program activity only, not your use of Claude.
- We'll ask for your consent (and your company's) before we publish anything that names either of you, or use information about you for anything outside the program. We handle your personal information as described in Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Respect and confidence
- Treat your colleagues, other Champions, Ambassadors, members of the community, and the Anthropic team with respect.
- We may remove a Champion who harasses others, claims to speak for Anthropic, or shares confidential information.
- Anthropic may monitor and moderate program spaces, and may remove content or access at its discretion.
- Anything you arrange directly with another Champion is between you and them, and Anthropic is not responsible for it.
- Don't use program spaces to sell or promote your company's products or services, or to recruit other Champions.
Keeping things confidential
- Some of what Anthropic and other Champions share with you through the program isn't public, like product previews, roadmaps, program materials and anything else a reasonable person would understand to be confidential ("Confidential Information").
- Use Confidential Information only for the program, protect it with reasonable care, and share it only with colleagues at your company who need it for the program and are required to keep it confidential. Don't post it, share it outside your company, or use it to train an AI model.
- Other Champions may work for competitors of your company, so don't share or discuss pricing, bids, customer pipelines or other competitively sensitive information in program spaces.
- This doesn't cover information that is public through no fault of yours, that you already knew, or that you received lawfully from someone else without restriction. If the law requires you to disclose it, tell us first where you can.
- These obligations last for three years after your time as a Champion ends, and for as long as any trade secret stays one. When your time as a Champion ends, or if we ask, you must delete or return our Confidential Information immediately.
- Nothing in these terms replaces or modifies any confidentiality terms in your company's agreement with Anthropic.
Leaving the program
- These terms start when you apply. If your application is accepted, they continue for as long as you're a Champion, until your time ends as described in this section. If it isn't accepted, they end then, except for the sections that continue under the legal basics section below.
- You can leave at any time by emailing enterprise-community@anthropic.com.
- When your time as a Champion ends, any program credits, accounts and other benefits end too, unless we tell you otherwise.
- Your time as a Champion ends if you leave your company, or if your company withdraws you or leaves the program. If you move to a new company, your participation does not transfer. You're welcome to work with the team at your new company to rejoin the program as one of its Champions, but your new company will need to be in the program and nominate you, and you will need to apply again.
- Anthropic may end a Champion's participation at any time at our discretion and without liability.
- When your time as a Champion ends, you must stop using the designation, the badge and Anthropic's materials.
The legal basics
- The program, its materials and any benefits are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind.
- To the extent permitted by law, Anthropic isn't liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, and Anthropic's total liability relating to the program is limited to US$100.
- These terms are governed by California law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts in San Francisco, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them. Anthropic may seek injunctive relief for a breach of the confidentiality section.
- These terms, together with your company's opt-in, are the whole agreement about the program. They don't change your company's agreement with Anthropic.
- You may not transfer your role or these terms to anyone else. Anthropic may assign these terms to an affiliate or successor.
- If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
- To the extent permitted by law, you release Anthropic from any claims arising from your participation in the program, except for claims arising from Anthropic's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- The sections on what you share with us, keeping things confidential and the legal basics, and your agreement that Anthropic may use your feedback, continue after your time as a Champion ends.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms as the program grows, and we'll let you know when we do.
